Risk-based plans, fieldwork, and reporting that pass committee scrutiny.
Controls testing across infrastructure, applications, and third parties.
Scoping, walkthroughs, and remediation for first-time and seasoned filers.
Credit, market, AML, and AI/ML models — independent of model development.
Program reviews, look-backs, and tuning for transaction monitoring systems.
Assessments, control design, and forensic support when a case requires it.
Control environment, governance, and reporting infrastructure ahead of S-1.
Findings the audit committee can act on. Three findings, not thirty.
Independence is a refusal, not a claim.
We do not perform financial statement audits or attestation engagements. Those services require a kind of independence we choose to keep for the audit committee instead — the freedom to advise on the design of controls that another firm will later opine on.
We also do not accept engagements that put us on both sides of a transaction, represent parties in active litigation involving current clients, or take retainers from issuers in our own families' portfolios. The list is short on purpose. Each item is non-negotiable.
